Summary
Simple Samadhan aims to reform Bharat’s governance by offering clear, practical solutions. It argues that corruption, delays, and systemic inefficiencies stem from loopholes in current laws and an overly complex Constitution. Since most citizens cannot understand the existing 448-article framework, the initiative proposes a concise, clear, people-friendly Constitution. After institutions declined to collaborate, Simple Samadhan is independently drafting a new constitutional model and related reforms, inviting public participation to build a just, efficient, and progressive nation.
SIMPLE SAMADHAN
Vision and Purpose
Simple Samadhan is an initiative dedicated to offering the most practical and straightforward solutions to improve the system of governance in Bharat.
Issues such as corruption, injustice, lengthy legal procedures, pendency of disputes, scarcity of basic amenities, and persistent poverty continue to distress the common citizen. Despite being blessed with the world’s oldest surviving civilization, abundant natural resources, and some of the finest intellects, Bharat still struggles with underdevelopment and inequality.
→ Can we regain our lost glory?
→ Can Bharat rise once again as a supreme power—militarily, economically, and spiritually—while upholding the timeless principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family) ?
→ The answer is yes—but the critical question is: how?
Questioning the Present Constitutional Framework
The existence of 448 lengthy and complex articles does not ensure consistency or clarity. Therefore, the need of the hour is a Constitution that is concise, clear, and reflective of the nation’s soul and guiding policies—a framework that the people can easily comprehend and relate to.
How many citizens truly understand the Constitution?
Are its contents concise, flawless, and free from ambiguity?
Why do judges of the Supreme Court require multi-judge benches to interpret certain provisions?
Why do interpretations of the same article differ?
Why This Initiative by Simple Samadhan
Undeterred, Simple Samadhan has resolved to undertake this task independently.
Our Initiative
The salient features of the proposed draft Constitution are presented in the following sections. The complete draft can be accessed by scanning the QR code provided below.
We invite comments, feedback, and participation from all citizens and institutions committed to national development.
Our mission extends beyond constitutional reform—we aim to redraft key laws, rules, and procedures, open them for public debate, and ultimately persuade the government to adopt and legalize a renewed and simplified constitutional framework.
To support this initiative, Simple Samadhan has dedicated the ground floor of its facility for hosting meetings, developing documents, and archiving all related materials for scholarly and public use.
Understanding the Root Cause
Our justice delivery mechanism often prioritizes technicalities and procedural escapes over natural justice. Government machinery is frequently slow, unaccountable, and disconnected from the public’s needs. As a result, the citizen—the ultimate stakeholder—suffers.
At the foundation of all governance instruments lies the Constitution, the mother of all laws and procedures. Hence, many systemic problems can be traced back to the Constitution itself and the ecosystem of laws, regulations, and institutions built upon it.
